dfirOS is designed with your privacy in mind. We believe forensic tools should respect the confidentiality of the data they handle.

dfirOS does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. All forensic image processing happens entirely on your device. No data leaves your Mac, iPhone, or iPad.

Analytics & Tracking

We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising frameworks, or tracking tools. There are no cookies, no telemetry, and no usage monitoring of any kind.

Forensic Evidence Data

Any forensic images, mobile extractions, or backup files you open with dfirOS are processed locally. We never have access to your evidence files, and no data from those files is transmitted over the network.

Third-Party Services

dfirOS does not integrate with any third-party services that would have access to your data. The app operates fully offline.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update this page with the new effective date. Significant changes will also be noted in our app update notes.
